The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal program that helps Canadians without dental insurance access essential dental care at reduced cost. Country Dental Fergus is proud to support eligible patients and make dental care more accessible in our community.
Who Is Eligible?
You may qualify for CDCP if you meet all of the following:
- You do not have any dental insurance (through work, school, a family member, or a private plan).
- Your adjusted family net income is under $90,000.
- You filed your taxes last year.
- You are a Canadian resident for tax purposes.

CDCP provides coverage for many essential services, such as:
- Exams, cleanings, and X-rays
- Fillings and basic restorative treatments
- Root canals (when appropriate)
- Dentures (based on eligibility)
